Dr. Kuoni is board certified in Pain Medicine and Anesthesiology. He provides expert interventional spine and pain management care to patients at The NeuroMedical Center Clinic in Hammond, Covington, and Slidell, Louisiana. He completed his training at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, one of the premier Pain Medicine fellowships in the country. He also lends his expertise to Independent Medical Evaluation (IMEs), Second Medical Opinions (SMO), expert witness testimony, and treatment for worker's compensation claims.

About Dr. Kuoni

“My goal is to treat each patient like family by customizing a unique treatment plan that utilizes the latest evidence-based techniques and minimally invasive procedures. I want to help my patients get back to enjoying the activities that they love while avoiding unnecessary surgeries and potentially addictive medication.”

Dr. Kuoni specializes in minimally invasive advanced spine procedures including  kyphoplasty, radiofrequency ablation, and spinal cord stimulation. Additionally, Dr. Kuoni provides treatment of painful conditions throughout the body including treatment of pain in the joints and extremities including persistent pain after knee replacement, CRPS, chronic pain after hernia repair, as well as facial pain syndromes. 

Dr. Kuoni obtained his medical degree from the University of Texas in Houston, Texas before completing an anesthesiology residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Dr. Kuoni furthered his medical training as a pain medicine fellow at Vanderbilt. Dr. Kuoni is board-certified in anesthesiology and pain medicine.

Dr. Kuoni currently see patients in Hammond, Covington, and Slidell, Louisiana.
